A Thought From an Ordinary Movie

Today, I watched a rather ordinary Telugu movie. I was tired and had simply switched on the TV.

But one small scene stayed with me.

A husband and wife caught in their own hurt and ego, were not on talking terms. The husband had decided not to attend their daughter's wedding, and the mother didn't ask him to come either.

Not because they didn't love their daughter.

Their ego had simply become louder than their love.

The hero doesn't take sides or try to settle their argument. He speaks to the husband for a moment, says a few words about his daughter, and quietly walks away.

As he walked away, the heroine said, “He won't come. You were too direct and rude.”

The hero smiled. “He will. I reminded him of his love for his daughter.”

And I suddenly thought......

Jambavan didn't give  hanuman strength. He simply reminded him of what was already within him.

Sometimes,

Anger makes us forget our love.

Fear makes us forget our courage.

Failure makes us forget our ability.

And sometimes, all a person needs is someone to remind them.

So, whenever you get a chance in life, remind people of who they are.

You never know what they might go on to do once they remember.
